The work
ERP is straightforward to install and genuinely hard to run well. The platform is a Python application over MariaDB with a background job queue, a websocket layer for realtime updates and a scheduler that quietly depends on both being healthy. None of that is exotic. It is the standard burden of operating a production database application, and it belongs with whoever does it for a living.
Managed hosting moves that burden to us. Your instance is single-tenant, in a residency region you choose, monitored around the clock, and backed up daily, with continuous backup and point-in-time recovery available as an upgrade. Version upgrades are staged against your actual customisations in a mirroring environment before they ever reach production. The upgrade-safety problem that haunts self-hosted AlpineERP is a process problem, and the process is ours to run.

Questions
Yes. It is GPL-licensed software and we will help you stand it up elsewhere, including on your own hardware. You lose staged-against-your-customisations upgrades and the pager, and you should only take that on with a team that runs production databases anyway.
EU, US, UK, UAE, India and Australia today, with more added on request. Residency requirements are contractual: private deployments can be pinned to a jurisdiction or to your own cloud account.
Minor releases are near-zero-downtime and applied monthly. Major AlpineERP versions are applied two to four times a year in a maintenance window you approve, after staging validation, typically thirty minutes, scheduled outside your operating hours.
Single-tenant by construction: separate database, separate app server, no shared state. Backups are encrypted at rest and scoped per instance; export on request at any time.
